As a note, when someone does find our little lost wandering visitor I suggest you not give her full cream/fresh milk. They go terribly on those little stomachs. I learned that the hard way.

[With trickery help from one of the people on the ship, the location of this post is scrambled, though anyone with decent skills in using their journals can easily see its from Garfield.]

To whom this may concern (that is, everyone):

By now you all have surely heard the news - the small islands that surrounds our fine homeland has now mysteriously disappeared; not even a trace remains of those island. Zip. Nada. Nil. Zitch. Zero. Nothing at all. They're gone as if they were never meant to exist in the first place.

What does this seem to tell us, my fellow brothers and sisters? The answer is only all too obvious.

The world as we know it is ending.

Before we all go about panicking about the end of the world however, let me highlight to you exactly why the world is ending. It is of course, because the sins of you us humans. Without a second thought you commit sins that are unforgivable. In the hundreds of years since we found ourselves up here without a reason - a utopia made for us in the skies - we've only twisted this place for our own means. We consider ourselves to be the ones at the top when there are others like the demi-humans. We become prejudiced against them, for to us they are seemingly imperfect. We use them without a regard to what they are.

All these stem for our own desires, the natural sin of us humans. None of us are wholly innocent - one way or another, we have sinned. Though the amount of sin we have depends on each and everyone of us; but like a balance, if there is one who is pure at heart then there is another who has done nothing but sinned in his or her while life. The balance was there, but now that balance is gone and has long toppled with the continuous sins committed by man. Take for one example, the bombings in Lunasa - over fifty ships were bombed, and because of that many people lost their lives for no reason. Even until now none of us have any sort of clue of the how and why it even happened.

That is, of course, besides the people who committed those in the first place. But I am sure they do not wish to divulge this information to any of us, since we don;t even know who they are. But there is no doubt however that they have committed a great sin - the sin of mass murder. Its unprecedented in our history of half a millennium upon this continent - and yet, many of us only forget about this atrocity and simply go on as if nothing happened.

Again, we return to the cycle of selfishness. No matter how we are, in the end we only think of ourselves first. That is the sin all of us commit - the sin of selfishness. And this sin has far too long gone overboard, dragging countless lives (and reputation) along with it as many die and suffer from this selfishness, be it from the corruption of the Ivona government or the lack of caring from the Vohemar government. Either way, everyone here posses and suffers form this sin.

And for this sin, we are to be punished. Thus the world ends with you.

All we can do is pray and hope for a painless end, my brothers and sisters.

So pray with me.

[OOC: And for the record? Yes, Garfield totally doesn't believe in anything that's in here. But he's heard a hell lot of other mysterious things.]

Well, it seems that the Long Night festivities are already over. It has been one of my more quiet, but nevertheless pleasant ones I must say. I do hope everyone had fun.

...though, I seemed to be shedding quite a bit recently. Hrm. I suppose it could be the cold... apologies to the fine people who fine themselves caught in bits of orange fur. I assure you though, I clean myself rather thoroughly.

[OOC: As mentioned earlier, Garfield's left copious amounts of fur in the officer's quarters - on the pillows, on the desks all over the floor, what have you not. Though for Edgeworth and vK, he's left a little extra in their spare boots. |3;;]

So, while all of the fine officers of the ship are off to do their thing at that promotion party (I'll be going there soon enough), I do believe some presents for the season are in order. Of course, not the most charming of gifts but I hope they'll like it, all the same. It did take me a while to gather them all and even more so to ensure that everyone of our fine officers get it - with a particularly large one for the fine first mate and captain.

I will be a tad late to the party for this, but I do hope all our officers appreciate the hard work I've done for this little gifts~

[OOC: While the officers are away for the party, Garfield has pulled one of his pranks upon the officers - he's left hairballs and shedded fur (gathered during the months here) all over their quarters (including my own muses as well - see how much I love to torture them?), with an especially healthy amount into vK and Edgeworth's footwear. Happy Long Night, dear officers. <3]

Well, well, this certainly is quite the interesting rumor...

Humans can be rather amusing at times, I have to say. At least we felines and furries don't have to worry about such trivial matters much. But I suppose it has its disadvantages as well at times~

Now though, I'm a tad hungry for a snack. Care to join me, Bidoof?

And now since our fine captain has apparently allowed the celebrations to be held... I suppose its time for the food to be decided. Rice? Noodles? A la carte? Though pasta and lasagna is always the finest, if I must say. I will also be pleased to look for the best drinks and whatnot to make this celebration a most splendorous one~

I'm sure Miss Andrews and Mr Sasagawa - as well as Miss Tatlin - and I, myself will all be pleased to help in this endeavor. Your highness, we only await your command.

So, so much has happened in the month or so since I boarded this vessel... chasing after pirates, bomb attacks and zombie attacks and all of that. Its a wonder I'm still relatively sane after all those happenings. At least I've made a good friend - Bidoof; he's a bit simple in the head, but at least he's a good companion. The only other animal besides myself and... Mr. Lombardi, I believe. Even until now its odd being the special one among my feline kind but at least I have others to relate to, I suppose.

The captain is really like what many say - rather intimidating with that von Karmasarus perfex of this, to be certain. Its a wonder how he manages to keep a ship like this in line, especially with someone like me around~ though then again I guess he hasn't noticed me yet I suppose. I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad here, hahaha. Just see what happens next then.

The first mate... Mr. Edgeworth, he's a strange man. Half of the time he's frustrated at the ship and the other half he seems wholly defensive of it. Humans, its hard to understand them at times... but it'll be interesting to see his reactions. I think I'll poke his buttons for a bit, as the human expression goes. Just to see how he reacts under some more... peculiar situations. Of course, nothing too harmful - it wouldn't be good if the first mate of this ship just keeled over and died.

Dr. Curtiss is quite the interesting person as well. He's certainly a lot more interesting than most of the others that I've met, and quite the character too. I have a feeling he and I will get along most well enough, hopefully~ And of course there's Mr. Hijikata as well. He's given me quite the earful once he discovered I was here, but I suppose that's just like him - the more he shouts at you means the more he cares for you, hahaha. Well, so long as I don't cause too much trouble I doubt he'd be coming over to try and kill me any time soon, I suppose~

...well, now that we're finally back on solid ground and done with that whole questioning thing, the First Mate really needs a vacation I say I think its a good time for me to get acquainted with land once more. Its been a while since I've managed to get my paws on somewhere nice and firm. Plus food is in order after that whole ordeal.

Would you like to join me, Bidoof? There's a good spot or two where creatures like us can get some of the finest gourmet delicacies.
